How to Password Protect Web Areas and Manage Members?

To password protect a directory, follow these steps:

1. Click “Directories protection” under “Protection setup”.
2. Click “Add directory”. You will now see the directories tree.
3. Select the directory you want to protect and press the button “Protect this directory”.

To manage members, you must do the following:

1. Go to the section “Member Control”
2. Here you will have the below options:
   • Register a new user (pre-registration)
   • Search users by username, real name and email
   • Edit member accounts (vital information, personal information, change password, and grant access to protected directories, set expiration date, change email, full name and interface language (if applicable).
   • Approve / decline new registrations
   • Un-suspend the locked user accounts
